The employees are one of the most valuable assets an organization can have. Jerusalem Water Undertaking being an autonomous service organization relies heavily on its employees to provide the most efficient, professional and pleasant service. Since its establishment in 1965, JWU experienced all kinds of changes and was affected by 1967 war, seven years of public uprising and over thirty years of occupation. Through these ongoing rough circumstances, the employees of JWU continue to do an excellent job.
JWU credits its success to these men and women whom with their continued efforts, dedication and determination, the Undertaking continues to provide the best possible service to the consumers and community. Jerusalem Water Undertaking recognizes with great respect and admiration the efforts and sacrifices of those employees who lost their lives while performing their duties.
JWU is very grateful to the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) and to the international organizations for their contribution in the development of JWU and their help in funding numerous infrastructure and technical assistance projects. It was JWU excellent international reputation that convinced these organizations to fund these projects and involve JWU in many water related studies and activities.
Last and foremost, JWU is thankful to its consumers for their loyalty, cooperation and patronage and takes it upon itself to continue providing them with the best possible service.
