Functions

The Mission Statement states the purpose of the organization. Overall objectives begin to translate mission into the work that people do every day. Strategic analysis continues this process and leads to ideas for action. Now it is time to organize these actions into the functions of the organization.

This chapter and its examples show how Jerusalem Water Undertaking designed new functions. This chapter also introduces the Organization Development (OD) Summary - one way to keep track of developments in the OD process.
